On the evening of May 4, 2023, after the epidemic was lifted, we welcomed the first wave of foreign customers’ visiting, and they’re friends from UK.
On May 5th, we went to the factory for in-depth exchanges and discussions on some key issues. Just like today’s good weather, blue sky, white clouds, breeze, and some early summer coolness, not very hot, everything is just right. We have not seen each other for a long time in the three years of the epidemic, and the expectation of the two sides meeting has reached 100%.
First of all, in the precision casting workshop, we showed in detail every step of precision casting and the key nodes of quality control. Neat workshop, clear records, the customer walked and said: “As the person in charge of this workshop, should be proud of such process control and workshop management”. This is also the most touching and best recognition we hear when customers come to do factory audits.
Then we focused on the machine shop. Because there are customers’ production orders here. Some varieties have already been processed and some will be finished and delivered next week. This time we focused on the details – the handling of burrs. Because this product is different from the past, it is an auto part, and it is in contact with oil, so we have to pay extra attention. Mainly discussed with customers how to 100% deburring, and 100% inspection. The burrs that are not easy to remove in different positions, what process, tools, and personnel arrangements are used.
In the process of communicating with customers, every nod, every thumbs up, every approved look, and every timely feedback from customers will become the driving force for us to do better and better, and we look forward to the next customers arrive in May.
